A mobile-first field sales CRM built to replace clipboard chaos: GPS-verified visits, real-time Odoo ERP sync, and a manager dashboard that actually reflects the field.
Labgene Biotech's field reps were walking into hospital labs and diagnostics centres every day: but the moment they left, there was no record those visits ever happened. Odoo ERP, the company's system of record, was built for desk teams: every rep login cost a named-user license, and logging a visit required desktop access, multiple screens, and comfort with a form interface nobody uses standing in a hospital corridor with spotty 4G.
The result: unlogged visits, forgotten follow-ups, managers guessing what their team did in the field, and Odoo CRM data so sparse it was useless. The CEO had legitimate frustration with zero visibility into his sales operation. There was no tool that sat between "field rep with a phone" and "enterprise ERP": so I built one.
Rather than replacing Odoo or running a parallel system alongside it, I built a field-capture layer that slots directly into the existing workflow. Reps authenticate through this app: not as Odoo named users: meaning the company added field-rep capacity at zero additional ERP license cost. Every order a rep submits becomes a real sale.order in Odoo. Every contact syncs to res.partner. The ERP stays the system of record; the app is the interface reps actually use.

Field reps think in terms of people and places, not pipeline stages. The entire app is organised around contacts. Sales, visits, WhatsApp sends, orders, and activities are all accessed instantly from a single hub. No separate leads view that a rep has to cross-reference against their actual customer list.

Financial data (orders, invoices, product catalog) stays in Odoo 19 Enterprise as the system of record. Synced directly via XML-RPC. No parallel data silos.
Live in production on Vercel, connected to Labgene Biotech's live Odoo 19 Enterprise instance. Internal company tool: not a SaaS product. In active use by the Labgene field sales team as of July 2026.
